Gérard Mourou

Gérard Mourou awarded Physics Nobel Prize 2018

Born in 1944 in Albertville in the French Alps, student at Grenoble University, Gérard Mourou is a scientist and pioneer in the field of electrical engineering and lasers. After receiving the prestigious French Legion of Honour award in 2012, the Frederic Ives medal in 2016 from the Optical Society of America, and the Arthur L.
